Earl Grey Old Fashioned
What you will need:
Ice
Earl Grey Iced Tea
1/2 Ounce Simple Syrup
1/2 Ounce Bourbon or Bourbon Extract
Orange Peel
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Cinnamon stick
This is one of our favorite tea mocktails we serve at our Revival HQ and Tea House in downtown Spokane. Let's show you how to make this delicious drink on the rocks at home.
First you will need some Revival Earl Grey Tea, then you will need to decide how you would like to make it into an iced tea. We cover this here.
Let's be honest, a cool rocks glass sure is nice for this but fill whichever glass you will be using with ice.
Then fill with your Earl Grey iced tea about 85% of the way to the top.
Now add 1/2 ounce of simple syrup( sugar and water) and 1/2 ounce of bourbon or bourbon extract. You can find bourbon extract at any grocery store in the baking isle. And of course the amount of bourbon is your call.
Add 2 dashes Angostura bitters. These can also be found at any grocery store by the cocktail mixers.
Stir for 15-20 seconds.
If desired add a cinnamon stick and orange peel. These add a little flare for the perfect social pic but honestly this drink is just as delicious with our without. Now kick back and enjoy!
Cheers,
Revival Tea Co.
